Lan Messenger Screen Shots
Lan Messenger - host manager. This window contains
all tools you need and must be running on the dflw host computer. It will scan
for messages in dflw and send them over internet / LAN / wireless LAN to clients,
detects abusive language, save the scores,...
The hosting tab gives you detailed information about the other users. You can
easy remove them and change their admin level.
The players tab shows you all the players in your server you can automatically
punt / ban players with only a space in their name or add players to the admin
list.
The message tab shows you all the messages said in the game chatbox. This way
you can easy ban cheaters even from another computer!
The Host editor allows you to easy and fast change a lot of host information.
Click the color labels to insert the right color for game types,...
Lan Messenger scores tracks all the player scores even leaving players are
recorded. They will be saved as a backup in a local ms access 2000 file and you can create
a html page or upload them to your bab.stats php server!
Lan Messenger can send messages to players when they reached a number of kills,...!
Possible to view all player stats in a list. Possible to search using reg
expressions for player names & player IPs.

The auto host tab enables you to easy change the map of the Map Launcher - Auto
Host on another computer or while playing in the server and typing 'request map:
my map.bms'. You can change the insert time and much more!
You also can upload the server status to your site!
Lan Messenger client window: This is the remote
window it will receive the messages,... You can do a lot of things here like
changing the game name, changing the map, punt / ban people, restart the game,
close the server, send messages & game commands,...
Possible to upload, download, execute remote files also possible to upload new
maps and directly add them to the map list without restarting the server (everything
can be enabled/disabled for each user of lan messenger).
Popup messages (like msn). Messages will now popup
on your screen whatever you are doing! This way you can easy ban cheaters and
see problems in your server!
Lan Messenger (client) window can be minimized to a small tray icon! You can change
your state to 'on line' or 'busy'. Put your state to 'busy' when you are playing
in your own server this will stop recieving messages.
Lan Messenger can show stats in the game this means people don't need to go to
the site for knowing their stats (still supported ofcourse).
Multiple admins can be added. They can be enabled to send commands in the game!
Easy ban cheaters while your playing!
Auto send score messages when a player reaches a number of kills!
If all this ain't enough you can create your own addins and
create nice tools like auto game type changer (screen shot), map requester, ...
Also: all the Lan Messenger actions, errors are saved in a log file for easy
debugging.
Also messages, players, IPs, kill messages, ... can be saved in a log file. This
log file is called: lan messenger log.xml and will be updated at the end of each
map. The log file can be opened in IE which makes it easy to see what happened
at any map, day, hour,...
