The PFF Editor user interface has nice icons and a toolbar. It works like
Windows Explorer. Double Click to open/view a file, right click properties,...
It also enables you to drag/drop/copy/paste files. Merge PFF files or insert
entire directories using the import wizard is possible. After adding files you
can choose to save the changes by clicking the 'save' icon or if you made a
mistake just close the screen and click 'no saving'. Possible to view one or
more file types (filter extensions) and search for files.

Making a MOD for DF: 2, LW, BHD becomes more easy by using the
dependecy viewer that tells you which files are needed to use a 3DI (object
file) or TRN (terrain file). When you try to extract a 3DI file you can choose
to extract the needed files (partab.tga on the screen shot) or do it manually.

Terrains files can be edited easy with the
TRN editor (still beta version):

The editor can be used to create Lan Messenger .ADR files too!
These files allow you to use Lan Messenger with any game version you want. You
just need to enter all the memmory addresses you need:

For the DOS freaks there is a nice console windows too. Allowing
to use the PFF file like if you were in a folder in MS dos.

Moderators often need to convert data to find settings,... This
convertor will help you to convert some things:
