2) extract the files from the zip file. After downloading a new screen will open showing the downloaded files you'll need to copy these files to your game directory (C:\program files\novalogic\delta force land warrior demo.
Note: screen is too small to display the full path (it should be: C:\program files\novalogic\delta force land warrior demo unless you changed the installation folder of your game.)
3) Start the dflwdhost.exe program (the one you copied in step 1 to your game folder). This program has an icon like this:
You will see a screen like this:
->windows vista users: right click it and run as administrator!
now enter your server details (name,game type,... port=17478)
4) click 'port check' this will automatically (try) to adjust all your router settings and firewall settings (windows firewall only) and it will check the connection:
NOTE: this requires you to have windows xp SP2 or windows vista!
note: if you don't have a 'port check' button you should download the latest version of this program.
Aftre clicking the button you should see this screen:
If all goes well you should get green 'V' for all things, click the 'OK' button.
You are ready to start hosting:
5) now start your game (dflw) and go to the host options screen do this by clicking 'multiplayer options' click 'host multiplayer' select 'Dfzone.be' at the top, select a game type and a map click 'start hosting'.
Special options in 'Host Options':
-put 'replay' = selected mission in host options to replay the selected map instead of closing the server.
-put 'recoil', 'scope drift' first OFF, start the game and press ESC button and go back to host options. Now turn recoil and scope drift back ON and start the server again. There will be no recoil and NO AUTO PUNTING
6)Go back to windows (press ALT+TAB or windows button). Click the 'ENABLE' button in the host tool program. this will show the server in the lobby.
->IF YOU GET A WARNING FROM A FIREWALL YOU SHOULD CLICK: ALLOW ALL ACCESS! Status should turn GREEN for success. Red means an error and blue is disabled.
